My Extreme Nights blog is coming to an end … I know you are sad. I am finishing up my 7th and final overnight shift for the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition build. This is the first overnight that I am not tired. It is going to be tough to get back on a normal schedule. Things were busy as ever at the build … it looked like there was still a lot to be done. The solar panels have been installed, and a lot of trees and shrubs have been brought in. I noticed several art pieces being brought into the house. Don’t forget if you want to be at the “MOVE THAT BUS” moment at 6pm - you need to get there early. They said around noon. It is also important to continue to volunteer. They will still need volunteers on Wednesday to continue to get things exactly where they need to be. The best thing about my last overnight shift … the weather was perfect! It was so warm … I didn’t need my gloves. A perfect ending to a fantastic week. I have really enjoyed meeting all the volunteers, and look forward to seeing this episode around Thanksgiving.
